Overview
An Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) is a serious condition where the main blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the lower body — the aorta — becomes enlarged or bulges due to weakening of its wall. If undetected or untreated, an AAA may rupture and lead to life-threatening bleeding.

Symptoms
AAAs often grow slowly and silently, with no symptoms until advanced stages. Possible signs include:

Deep, constant pain in the abdomen or back

A pulsating sensation in the abdomen

Sudden, severe pain and signs of internal bleeding (in case of rupture)

Finally sleeping soundly and pain-free!
When I first met Dr. Shashi Bala,I had many health concerns including hypertension, diabetes, gastric trouble and night time heartburn. During my sleep, I was usually awakened by heartburn.
