Dr. (Prof.) Tarun Kumar is a Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology with more than 15 years of experience in angiography, angioplasty & stenting, structural heart disease (TAVI), and advanced cardiovascular imaging. His career reflects a blend of clinical excellence, academic leadership, and innovation in modern cardiac care.
He has served as Associate Consultant at Medanta – The Medicity and as Professor of Cardiology at ABVIMS & Dr. RML Hospital, Delhi, contributing to clinical training and advanced cardiovascular procedures. His training includes some of India’s most respected centres—Maulana Azad Medical College, PGIMER Chandigarh, and Sri Jayadeva Institute (Bengaluru)—along with exposure to global best practices at the Mayo Clinic, USA.
With 40+ peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Tarun Kumar’s academic work spans complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and cardiac imaging. He has been honoured with the National Health Award (2019) and the Torch of Wisdom Award by IMA-EDB (2024), and currently serves as Cardiologist to the Supreme Court of India.
