Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction is a routine yet important dental procedure performed at Moolchand Hospital by skilled dentists and oral surgeons. While every effort is made to preserve natural teeth, extraction becomes necessary when a tooth is beyond repair due to advanced decay, severe gum disease, irreparable fracture, failed root canal treatment, or when removal is required for orthodontic treatment or denture fabrication.
Simple extractions are performed on visible, fully erupted teeth using local anaesthesia and take only a few minutes. Surgical extractions are required for teeth that are broken below the gum line, have curved or multiple roots, or are partially impacted.
