About me
Dr. Arun Goel is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics & Paediatric Orthopaedics at Moolchand Hospital, Lajpat Nagar, with over 40 years of experience across multiple orthopaedic sub-specialties, and a primary focus on paediatric orthopaedics. Over the course of his career, he has performed a wide range of complex reconstructive surgeries, deformity corrections, limb fixation procedures, and advanced orthopaedic interventions for both adults and children.
While he also manages adult upper-extremity joint conditions, the majority of Dr. Goel’s clinical work is dedicated to children and adolescents. He is frequently referred rare, congenital, and complicated musculoskeletal cases from across India and overseas—especially conditions requiring specialised expertise in developmental bone disorders, paediatric limb reconstruction, and growth-related deformity correction.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Goel has made extensive contributions to orthopaedic education and academic medicine. He has chaired numerous national and international orthopaedic conferences, contributed to research, and served as an examiner for MS and DNB students. He has had the honour of treating the President of India and advising the Ministry of Rehabilitation on orthopaedic standards.
Service has remained central to his mission. He has served on the advisory board of Rotary Viklang Kendra, supporting free artificial limb services for underprivileged patients, and is the Founder Secretary of the Delhi Orthopaedic Association. He remains an active member of respected global societies including the A.O. Swiss Foundation and the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India (POSI).
His philosophy is simple: restore mobility, protect growth, and enhance quality of life—especially for children who deserve the chance to move freely and live fully.
