About me
Dr. Krishna Vaitheeswaran is a highly experienced senior ophthalmologist and retina & vitreo-retinal specialist with more than 35 years of clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of eye conditions — from routine visual disorders to complex retinal diseases.
He completed his MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from the University of Delhi, followed by FRCS (Glasgow) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, establishing strong academic and surgical foundations.
Dr. Vaitheeswaran’s clinical interests focus on precise, evidence-based management of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), infectious and non-infectious uveitis, and complex retinal detachments conditions that can threaten vision if not diagnosed and treated in a timely manner.
Alongside clinical care, he has contributed to research, participated in national workshops and contributed to scientific publications, combining compassionate patient care with advancing ophthalmic knowledge.
