About me
Dr. Vinod Puri is a senior neurologist with more than 42 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Formerly Director, Professor, and Head of Neurology at G.B. Pant, he is known for his expertise in epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and clinical neuro-electrophysiology.
A US-trained clinician and an alumnus of the University of Delhi, Dr. Puri has earned the trust of generations of patients through his clear diagnostic approach, strong academic foundation, and compassionate care. He has authored more than 144 scientific publications and contributed significantly to research in epilepsy, stroke rehabilitation, and neurophysiology.
He has been honoured with a State Award for Meritorious Services in Medicine and has received prestigious fellowships, including a WHO Fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology, along with international fellowships from Queen Square Institute of Neurology, London, and the Royal College of Physicians, London.
