About me
I have been trained internationally and have been delivering happiness for over 30 years. I was trained at the Lady Hardinge Medical College, Sucheta Kripalani Hospital for women and Kalawati Saran hospital for children, all known as leading teaching and tertiary care hospitals for women and children in South Asia.
I was mentored by doctors at Ob/Gyn Institute at University Hospital at Uppsala (Sweden), one of the oldest hospitals in Europe. In Sweden, I was trained under the able guidance of Prof. Staffan Bergstrom for infertility treatment, ultrasound, high risk obstetrics and gynaecological oncology.
My international exposure gives me an edge in handling high risk pregnancy cases and gynaecological cases with a cardiac history. I am adept at performing laparoscopic surgeries also known as minimally invasive/keyhole/laser surgeries.
I also take great joy in teaching post graduate students. It helps me keep my own clinical knowledge and skills honed.

What I'd like to tell my patients
What are my expectations from my doctor? My expectation would be: an expert in whom I can confide all my feelings and concerns without any fear. For me, the feeling of trust matters the most the first time I talk to my doctor. So, my constant endeavour is to provide the same to each of my patient. Starting from the very first visit, through admission, procedures and eventually subsequent visits, my patients are handheld and guided by me and my team.
Many pregnancies and childbirth develop complications along the way. Therefore, I tell my patients at Moolchand, they can sit back and relax, for they have access to a world-class operation facility managed by a highly experienced multidisciplinary team and backup facilities available for any eventuality, should it ever arise.
My team and I never refuse a case based on complication. Gynaecological laparoscopic surgeries has evolved over the years and I take pride in keeping myself abreast with these techniques and offer it routinely to my patients.
