    About me

My team at Moolchand and I have a longstanding unbroken record of ensuring the survival of the youngest premature baby (born in 25 weeks) in India. As a highly experienced pediatrician with special focus on neonatology, at times my patients refer me as an “infant specialist”. Our neonatal unit at Moolchand is well equipped and competent in treating low birth weight babies. It is with great pride that I can state that my record of high survival rates for low birth weight babies is better than developed countries and makes me a much sought after neonatologist.

I have served the Indian army as a physician for 27+ years and have teaching experience of over 12+ years.

In addition, I established ASHA Centres (in Pathankot and Meerut) which helps differently abled children attain their potential.

What I'd like to tell my patients

With a plethora of corporate birthing centres mushrooming around us, it is important that expectant parents choose a birthing centre that can not only handle complications during the delivery but can also ensure paediatric interventions for the wellbeing of babies born with complications.

When a baby is born premature, they are low weight and need special care and attention to ensure they grow healthy and without any problems affecting them for the rest of their lives. We need technology and infrastructure to keep them warm and safe. At Moolchand, over the decades we have handled all kinds of cases and offer the best new born care.

No matter what issue a pregnant woman or a new mother faces, she needs to stay calm and take charge. As a doctor I ensure that I am by her side for all the decisions she needs to make. I have deep experience on my side as a neonatologist which new mothers don’t have. I help them get perspective, offering them and their babies the best treatment plans.

My team and I at Moolchand understand children and babies’ health better than most in India. We work with the best infrastructure and a dedicated support staff and that’s why many complicated cases are sent to Moolchand.
